Im feeling a since or brute hardheaded energy from both sides. Someone on YouTube reanimated one episode of the 70's Monkey Magic show and released it a few days ago.

artists took a segment from "Catfish, Saint, and the Shape-Changer" the 14th episode from the 1978 series Saiyuki or better known as "Monkey". It is nearly 50 years old and while I shall say the English voices are a lil dated the artists have captured the charm and humor that made the series so popular in the first place! It is creative, it is inspiring, it is so glorious to see so many different artists show how much Xiyouji means to them and how they see this funny and strange group of monks together on their holy pilgrimage. It really captures just how beloved not only the show was but how even today JTTW is for any generation and transcends time to still be going strong after 400 from Wu Cheng'en's official release!

Important To Know:

This challenge was created by me for myself and is inspired by the book "75 Hard: A Tactical Guide to Winning the War with Yourself." However, you can easily join in by using the hashtag #75welf. I will focus on personal goals and well-being rather than pushing myself to the limit, as the essence lies not in the happy ending but in the journey toward it!

I prepared for this challenge a month in advance. I tried out what diet suits me the most without craving cheat meals, decided on what books I want to read and what kind of workouts are the best for me.

I don't want to bother you with a daily follow up of my challenge, but please consider I'll try to do an update every 1-2 weeks

Rules:

16:8 fasting + 1 cheatmeal per month;No sugar drinks or energy drinks

Doing workouts at gym at least once a week

Drinking 2,5 liters of water daily

In bed by 10 PM, up at 6:30 AM

Doing AM and PM skincare every day

i contain multitudes and can say that i am a little :( about vex and percy being teammates with benefits because i think there’s something particularly heartbreaking about the dynamic that was neither of them ever said a thing even though they both were aware of it and it took losing percy for vex to finally admit it and Even Then, she couldn’t say it to percy’s face when they got him back, percy was the one who had to make the first move (that they were both alive for at least) and he was only able to do that because he’d heard her confession, because he never would’ve thought otherwise. to be clear, i also very much enjoy the story being told, i think i just wish they’d maybe committed more significantly to This Is A Campaign-Inspired Story Rather Than A Retelling sooner in the show so that maybe there would be a bit more grounding or set-up for the storylines the narrative is focusing on (and i understand why they wouldn’t), because i think they’re doing very well with percy’s arc for example, because they started with focusing on his and keeping his beats mostly the same and that seems to be much the same case as some of his second wave of meaty character stuff has arrived. but with vex they’ve aimed for the same character beats but it doesn’t always feel as earned or really feel like much character at all; i think saundor particularly was a bit of an :/, since in the campaign it was really a catalyst for vex interrogating her role in the party and her morality and something she struggled to get over and that haunted her far beyond the walls of that tree, but in the show it hasn’t really had a clear impact on vex beyond the scope of the episode itself — syldor certainly has, but the challenge that saundor presented didn’t really have much weight beyond its moment. and obviously a large part of that’s also probably just, 7 protagonists and wanting to expand the perspectives to antagonists and give more room for side characters is a lot of things to cover. and, i say with love, perhaps a bit too ambitious for a 12 episode per season, ~22 minute runtime show if they want their characters to have the kind of depth that really makes campaign 1 shine the way it does.

being a kid with psychic and mediumship abilities is very, very confusing and difficult to navigate, specifically for the fact that you literally have no fucking clue why all of the sudden you know that your friend's bunny got lost without having spoken to her or why you're seeing physical apparitions of spirits in your basement or why you can feel a person's emotions by only looking at them...there are so many things that happen that as a kid you don't know how to control and it's very overwhelming.

I remember I would isolate myself during recess because I could feel what everyone was feeling, both the good and the bad, and this would either give me a headache or a nervous breakdown (I'd cry when I'd get home), and this happened since I was a child up until my late teen years.

my high school was filled with hateful and envious people, I knew everything that was going on without meaning to, I didn't know how to "switch it off". but when I got into witchcraft and spirituality, I started teaching myself how to control it, how to do it consciously instead of being constantly bombarded by information of other people's lives or dead loved ones reaching out randomly. I'm so glad I can call this a gift now, when for so long I thought it was a curse.

deadpool has been depicted in text as queer for decades through subtext and coding and explicitly confirmed out of text as queer since almost a decade ago. and when i say queer, i mean both sexuality and gender wise. it’s all there, if you care to pay attention and acknowledge it for what it is.

but people love to deny and doubt it, so here i am, detailing deadpool’s pansexuality and general queerness and challenging the arguments made against it. even though it would send a deadpool co-creator into a twitter bitch fit. maybe even especially because it would.

one of my first posts on here was 6 years ago about deadpool being one of the only two pan characters i knew of at the time (wild!!!! i now have a list of over 1000 pan characters!!!!) and how pissed off i was that people said he isn’t valid/good queer rep, so it’s very on brand for me to have eventually ended up writing a whole ass essay defending his pansexuality and bringing as many receipts as i could.
